The Short Version

What is PrepBnB?

PrepBnB is a website made for short-term rental cleaners and the hosts who hire them. It replaces group texts, paper checklists, and end-of-week invoices. You do not need to install any app.

For you, it does four things: (1) shows what jobs are coming up, (2) shows the checklist and photos for each property, (3) lets you report problems right away, and (4)tracks what you are paid. Everything opens from a link in your phone's browser.

Step-By-Step Setup

First 5 minutes

Do these one time, before your first job. There is no app to install. Everything happens in your phone's browser.

1

Open the invite email

Your host will email you a PrepBnB invite. Tap the link inside. It opens in your phone's browser. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder. Still not there? Ask your host to send it again, or email hello@prepbnb.com.

2

Sign in with your email

Tap the sign-in link. PrepBnB will send you a 6-digit code by text or email. Type the code and you are in. You stay signed in for 30 days. Use the same email your host used to invite you.

3

Add PrepBnB to your home screen

On iPhone: in Safari, tap the Share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android: in Chrome, tap the menu, then 'Install app' or 'Add to Home Screen'. Now PrepBnB opens like an app, with its own icon.

4

Save your host's contact info

Save your host's phone number in your phone. PrepBnB will email you when there is a new job or a schedule change. Make sure these emails do not go to your spam folder.

Can't find the invite?

Check your spam folder first. Then ask your host to send it again. Still stuck? Email hello@prepbnb.com. We will help you connect to your host.

Your Day With A Job

The job, from start to finish

Every job has the same 7 steps. After 2 or 3 jobs, it will feel easy.

1

You get an email

When a new job is added, PrepBnB emails you. The email shows the property name, the date, and the check-out time. Tap the link to open the job. No login or app needed.

Get the address and how to get in

After you claim, the job page shows the full address, the door code or key location, parking notes, and other details (alarm code, pet, fragile items). Read this before you go.

4

Use the checklist

Each property has its own checklist (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, restock, trash, laundry, and more). Tap each item when you finish it. Do not skip any item. A full checklist means a happy guest.

Tips From Top Cleaners

How to work fast with PrepBnB

Small habits add up. The best cleaners all do most of these.

Bring a phone charger

Using PrepBnB and uploading photos uses your battery fast. Keep a small power bank in your cleaning kit. It is worth it.

Check tomorrow's jobs the night before

At the end of each day, open your job board. Look at tomorrow's jobs. Check the addresses. Read any new notes from the host. Plan your route. Five minutes at night saves an hour in the morning.

Photos: bright, steady, full view

Open the blinds. Turn on the lights. Hold your phone steady. Show the whole bed, counter, or bathroom in one photo. Blurry or dark photos slow down approval. You may need to take them again.

Text or call your host

PrepBnB does not have a chat. For urgent things — running late, damage, locked out — text or call your host. Save their phone number on day one.

Take photos of restocked items

After you put out new toilet paper, towels, coffee, or soap, take a photo of it. Hosts like to see this. It also protects you if a guest later says something was missing.

Tell your host when supplies are low

If a property has only a little toilet paper or soap left, tap 'Report Issue' and pick 'Low Supply'. Your host can buy more before your next visit.

What "done" looks like

Three rules for 5-star reviews

Guests see how clean a place is before anything else. The best cleaners always follow these three rules:

Take every photo on the checklist — no skipping

Missing photos = the job is not done. Even if the place looks perfect, your host cannot approve or pay you until the photos are in.

If something is wrong, report it before you leave

Broken blinds, stained sheets, missing remotes, low supplies — your host wants to hear about it from you, not from the next guest.

Restock by the list, not by guessing

Each property has a list of supplies to keep stocked (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, soap, trash bags). Restock to this list every time. Do not guess.

Common Questions

Quick answers

Do I need to download an app?+

No. PrepBnB is a website. It works in your phone's browser — Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android. There is nothing to install. If you want it to feel like an app, use 'Add to Home Screen' in your browser. It will get its own icon and open full screen.

What if I do not get the invite email?+

First, check your spam or promotions folder. If you still cannot find it, ask your host to send it again, or email hello@prepbnb.com with the email address you want the invite sent to.

Can I use PrepBnB on iPad or computer?+

Yes. It works on any device with a browser. The schedule and earnings look good on a tablet or laptop. Photos and checklists are easiest on the phone you bring to the property.

Do I get paid through PrepBnB?+

It depends on your host. Most hosts pay you directly (Zelle, Venmo, bank transfer, etc.) after each clean. PrepBnB tracks every payment so you can always see what is still owed.

What if the checklist is wrong or missing something?+

Text your host. Hosts update the checklist as they learn. Your feedback helps. They can fix the checklist the same day.

What if I am running late?+

Text or call your host. They can tell the next guest. It is better to tell them 30 minutes early than to be a no-show.

What if I find damage from a guest?+

Take photos from a few angles. Tap 'Report Issue' and pick 'Damage'. Add a short note about what you found and where. Your host uses this to file a claim with Airbnb. Clear photos and details help.

Can I see my upcoming earnings?+

Yes. Your job board shows upcoming jobs, finished jobs, and a monthly earnings summary. You can see the payment status (unpaid, requested, paid). It updates after each clean.
